Manulife Customer Exclusive "Manulife presents Twins Spirit Since 2001 Live in Hong Kong" Tickets Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions")

1. This lucky draw (“Lucky Draw”) is organized by Manulife (International) Limited (Incorporated in Bermuda with limited liability) (“Manulife”). The promotion period is valid from 17 November 2023 to 31 December 2023 (Hong Kong Time) (“Promotion Period”). By participating in this Lucky Draw, the participants shall be deemed to have read, understood, accepted and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

2. The Lucky Draw is open to individuals who fulfil all the following requirements (each an “Eligible Participant”):

Participants must sign a new policy application for designated basic plan (“Designated Basic Plan”) in Hong Kong during the Promotion Period, submitted to Manulife on or before 31 December 2023 (“Eligible Policy Application”).

3. Manulife insurance advisors and staff employed under Manulife or its affiliates (“affiliates” means any person or entity directly or indirectly controlling, controlled by or under common control with Manulife) are eligible for participating in this Lucky Draw.

4. This Lucky Draw promotion is not applicable to participants who within the Promotion Period, has cancelled any existing policy of the same Designated Basic Plan for the same life insured during its cooling-off period and such existing policy’s application sign date is before the Promotion Period.

5. Each Eligible Participant is entitled to one Lucky Draw entry for a successful submission of application of each Designated Basic Plan. For avoidance of doubt, for multiple policy application submissions of the same Designated Basic Plan for the same life insured, only one Lucky Draw entry will be entitled.

6. Subject to clause 5 above, the number of Lucky Draw entry for each Eligible Participant is not limited. However, each Eligible Participant may win only one prize at most.

Winners will be drawn among Eligible Participants by computer system randomly on 3 January 2024 (“Winner(s)”) and announcement of Winners will be published on Manulife website (www.manulife.com.hk) on 9 January 2024. Winners will be notified about the Prize collection arrangement via email / SMS within five working days after the Winner list is published. The notification email / SMS will be sent to the email address and/or phone number provided by the Winners during the policy application. In addition, the announcement of Winners will also be published in The Standard and Sing Tao Daily in Hong Kong on 9 January 2024. The policy applied for under the Eligible Policy Application must remain in force with no premium overdue at the time of Prize collection, otherwise the Winner will be disqualified and will not be entitled to receive the Prize. The Winner must present his/her original copy of valid identification document for verification when collecting the Prize. If the Winners fail to collect the Prizes within the specified Prize collection period for whatever reason, they will be disqualified and will have their Prizes forfeited without further notice. Manulife reserves the rights to deal with all forfeited Prizes in any manner deemed fit.

9. The Prize cannot be exchanged, transferred, returned or redeemed for cash, other products or services under all circumstances. Winners will not be allowed to choose the seats and concert show date. The Prize can only be used within the period specified on the ticket. Each ticket admits one person only. Photocopies are not accepted. The venue of the concert may be temporarily closed or suspended upon occurrence of any events beyond the control of the Prize supplier, including but not limited to the outbreak of infectious diseases or inclement weather (including but not limited to the hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 or higher, or Black Rainstorm warnings) on the date of the concert. Winners should abide by all arrangements of the Prize supplier. The Prize supplier reserves the right to reschedule the concert without prior notice. No compensation, reissuing or refund of Prizes will be arranged. Use of the Prize shall be subject to terms and conditions of the Prize supplier, otherwise the Prize supplier has the right to refuse such persons to enter the venue.

10. Manulife is not responsible for verifying the email address and/or phone number provided by the Eligible Participant. Should there be any misdelivery of email / SMS notification resulted from inaccurate / incorrect information provided by the Eligible Participant, Manulife will not re-issue the Prize.

11. If the participants or Winners violate any applicable rules / regulations or commit any illegal acts that result in any losses on the part of Manulife or any third parties, the relevant participants or Winners shall be liable for all the losses.

12. Email / SMS notification or other Prize redemption documents issued to the winners will not be re-issued in case of loss or damage.

13. If for any reason Lucky Draw is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Manulife that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of Lucky Draw, Manulife reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process without prior notice.

14. Manulife is not the supplier of the Prizes or the organizer of the concert and shall not be liable for any responsibilities regarding the use or enjoyment of the Prizes and shall not be responsible or liable for the availability and quality of the concert. Any disputes arising from the Prizes or the concert shall be resolved by the Winner and the supplier / organizer directly. The use of the Prizes is subject to terms and conditions as determined by the supplier / organizer.

15. Manulife has the sole and absolute discretion in, according to relevant clauses of the Terms and Conditions, determining a person’s eligibility to receive the Prize. If Manulife discovers at any time, whether after or during the Promotion Period, that any person has failed to comply with the Terms and Conditions, Manulife is entitled to disqualify the person from participating in the Lucky Draw and receiving the Prize.

16. The Lucky Draw is held within Hong Kong. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. In the case of any disputes of the Terms and Conditions, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

17. This Lucky Draw promotion can be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

18. Manulife reserves the right to interpret the Terms and Conditions. For any dispute arising from the Lucky Draw, Manulife’s decision shall be final and conclusive.

19. Participating in the Lucky Draw will serve as the participant's consent to accept the Terms and Conditions and Manulife’s Personal Information Collection Statement, and agree to receive communications relating to the Lucky Draw, including Winner notifications. Manulife hereby notifies the participants that personal information will be collected and used for the Lucky Draw’s purpose, which include without limitation to the administration of the Lucky Draw, placing in the entry list of the Lucky Draw, drawing the Winner, contacting participants on Winner notification, announcing the Winners list and identity verification of the Winner upon Prize redemption etc.

Whilst provision of personal data by the participant for this Lucky Draw is voluntary, failure to supply personal data by the participant will result in Manulife unable to recognize the participant as an Eligible Participant, and consequently unable to enroll the participant to this Lucky Draw. Manulife retains the rights to contact the participant concerning this Lucky Draw, irrespective of the participant’s consent status to direct marketing as detailed in Manulife’s Personal Information Collection Statement.

20. If there is any discrepancy between the information contained in the promotional materials and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

21. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
